Hi everybody! Happy Friday!
It has been a while since I took over mummy’s blog because I have been busy having lots of tummy time and laughs with mummy and daddy 🙂 There are so many new things that I am learning like how to support my neck and sit up with the help of mummy and daddy and also we have been reading lots of books. I do not really understand what those nursery rhymes mean but the pictures are interesting and mummy and daddy seem to find the rhymes amusing and they like to reminisce about their own childhood – hehehheh old people! 😛
The pics I’ve chosen today are of outfits where I am wearing an awesome t-shirt which was a present from one of mummy’s friends! I like it a lot as it’s grey colour is easy to match with my other clothes and it is super comfy! And of course it has headphones like the ones daddy uses when he goes out to dj. I heard mummy saying that the t-shirt is from Next. Mummy bought my red & grey striped hoodie from Charlie & Me and she has teamed it up with some red Bonds bottoms! The hoodie also has a dj theme – daddy must be proud when I wear these! I am his mini-me! 🙂
I hope you all have a happy Friday and fun weekend! Stay tuned for more ootd’s and if you have Instagram you can follow mummy on “jacqfruit” 🙂

Happy New Year everybody! I am taking over mummy’s blog today because she has been so busy lately that I noticed she has not posted anything here for you.I got a bit too excited about my first Christmas & New Year’s celebrations that there are a few more photos than usual! I am sure you all do not mind 🙂
my first acting gig lol!!
my great grandma!!
Christmas was all about family 🙂 It was so nice to see that everywhere people were celebrating this special time of year with their mummy’s and daddy’s, brothers and sisters etc (Mummy thinks that I am not paying attention when she is on the laptop and thinks that I sit there just sucking my hand, but I am really checking out what she is looking at on these websites called Facebook and Twitter hehehe!).
This Christmas I was so lucky to meet and spend time with all my aunties and uncles and grandparents and great grandparents! I was also very lucky to receive so much love, cuddles, kisses and presents from everyone. I think mummy and daddy thoroughly enjoyed opening my presents this first Christmas.Everyone keeps saying Christmas is all about me now! Heheheh! I was trying to be a good boy for mummy and daddy by sleeping lots during Christmas eve so that they could eat and hang out with their cousins and aunties. But by the next day, Christmas day, I was quite tired and cried a little bit when we went to see Daddy’s side. It did not seem to matter because everyone still wanted to hold me and carry me and hug me 🙂 I feel so happy! 🙂
round fruits for New Year’s eve!
Mummy & Daddy took me outside to see the fireworks! – our first family pic of 2013
Mummy and Daddy spent NYE at home with me and all their friends came over to celebrate too! It was so noisy outside with the neighbours bringing in the new year and people setting off some huge firework things! I was excited too but by the time it was midnight it did not matter how loud the festivities got, I just went straight to sleep because I had had a big day that last day of 2012 (mummy and daddy were cleaning and shopping and doing lots of prep for the night time guests!).
Overall it was just the best holiday time ever! I got up to a few things: I got to play Baby Jesus during the kids Christmas mass, I was able to “party” with mummy and daddy during their new year’s celebrations, I did a massive poo explosion on Christmas day which is why you see me naked in one of the photos!
I hope all of you had a memorable Christmas and New Year’s with your families and friends! I sure did!! 🙂
OOTD: stripey vest, white singlet and soft denim-like shorts – all presents from Mummy & Daddy’s wonderful friends!
Happy Thursday everyone!
Ok, so Mummy sounds really stressed today because her & Daddy are talking about taking me to the doctor for my first immunisationvisit, whatever that means? Mummy sounds like she does not want to go to the appointment with Daddy and me but I really hope she comes! Whatever it is it can’t be that bad, can it? I’ll have to update you all later when I find out exactly what is going on! I also have some photos for you from Christmas Eve and Day! I’ll upload those later too!
Meanwhile today was the first time I… LOL’d!! – laughed out loud!!! Heheheh! Mummy and Daddy were SUPER excited!! I am glad I can make them happy and smiley because I have been crying a bit lately. It’s only because I have been so very tired from all the lunches and dinners we’ve been attending. I love going out though and meeting everyone so I will just have to get used to it hey?! Ok we are running late for our appointment so I should go now! By the way do you like my outfit of the day? #ootd I do! It is super comfy! 🙂

Last, last week mummy and daddy took me to get my first ever photo with Santa. Mummy seemed to be very happy with daddy’s workplace for organising free Santa photos for staff members and their children! Daddy seemed very proud too! I met daddy’s boss and she was really lovely and kind!
On the way to daddy’s work mummy and I got busy taking selfies while daddy made his way through the morning Westgate traffic. Mummy kept taking photos of me as she thought I was making some “Zoolander” face? I’ve never heard of such a thing as “Blue Steel” – I was merely doing my poo’s. Mummy seemed to love it though so I kept it up for her lol!! I thought she was making me rehearse for my photoshoot with Santa but when we got there it was just the normal front portrait shot – no posing or fancy lighting or action shots…so here you see they got me whilst yawning! 😀
I hope you are all having fun preparing for Christmas and enjoying spending time with your families! Go easy in the shopping centres when present shopping and don’t forget to watch out for the mummies with prams!! – if it gets too much of hassle to shop with us babies then they might leave us at home! 😉
“heyyy!…where did everybody go??!” – me looking tiny in mummy and daddy’s bed.
Hi again!!! Mummy is trying to blog but she’s taking so long uploading pics from the weekend so I thought I’d jump on to say happy Monday to you all! 🙂
Normally when I wake up I find myself in my bassinet but I woke up this morning and found myself in the big, big “cloud” (that’s what I hear mummy and daddy calling their bed – it really is huge but I don’t think it feels like a cloud? They must mean it feels really soft?! 😉 ). I sleep much better when I can feel that mummy and daddy are next to me!
Anyways I’m keeping it short and sweet today so have a great week everybody! – only 7 more sleeps until Christmas! 🙂 Skip the stress and the crowds this year – don’t worry about presents!! Just spend time with the people you love and give them a great big hug and lots of kisses, and smiles! Oh and milk!! Or in your case, food! – that’s all you need to make someone happy…
…it’s the simple things 😉
Me and my dragon 🙂
It’s me again!
Just thought I would do a quick post on this auspicious date of 12.12.12! It was so hot today that mummy, daddy and I stayed indoors most of the day except for a quick trip to Nando’s for lunch. I do not eat solids yet so I just slept in my pram giving mummy and daddy the chance to share a meal together as if they were on a date! 🙂 I wish we went for a walk with Lando today but it was 33 degrees and the sun must have been very harsh. Maybe they will take us for a walk tomorrow.
Anyways speaking of auspicious, I keep hearing people talking about how good it is to be born in the year of the dragon which is this year. Today I started playing with my very own dragon which I received from one of mummy and daddy’s friends that visited us in the hospital. He is so cute (he takes after me I guess!?). I can’t wait for us to go on lots of adventures together…please say hi to Drake the dragon!
I’m a big boy now!
Laughing during play time!
Mummy’s milk? – Winning!!! 😀
Hi my name is Daniel and I’m just going to hijack mummy’s blog for a minute to let you know that…I am 6 weeks old today!! 🙂
Development: Mummy and Daddy seemed so excited because they saw me laugh and interact with them a lot more today! They were so happy! Up until now I have been sleeping and eating and sleeping a lot so I guess they are excited to get a little bit of play time in!
Singer/songwriters: Mummy and Daddy seem to like singing me songs all the time! It is probably because when they sing I feel so relaxed that I end up falling asleep! – they must think they are a pair of pretty talented composers! Hehehhe!
Cheeky monkey: I did a massive poo explosion today, the kind that filled up my whole nappy and exploded out the sides and all up my back!! You should have seen the look on mummy’s face – she had no idea what to do!! She stripped me naked but my poop was everywhere and got onto my hair and my blankets! It was so funny!!! I thought Mummy would finally give me a bath after all that but she didn’t – I think she’s still a little scared because Daddy always bathes me and she hasn’t bathed me on her own yet. I did not mind though because she cleaned me up nicely with the baby wipes (she probably used up a whole packet!). I love my bath times with Daddy! He gets me really clean and it feels so refreshing not to be wrapped up in blankets and nappies – feels so good to be free and aired out down there!
Trip to the hospital: Mummy took me out for the first time completely on her own today! She took me back to the hospital where I spent my first 4 days in this world because it was her 6 week check up. Wherever we go it seems that everyone is so very interested that I was born in Mummy and Daddy’s car and not in a hospital. Everyone is amazed that Mummy, Daddy and I went through the labour all by ourselves! What can I say?…we make the bestest team ever! I just wanted to get out already and I saw the opening and went for it! – Big deal! I think Mummy and Daddy have re-told my birth story 50 bajillion times now! Hahahah! They must be very proud of me coming out all by myself!
Anyways I want some of that yummy, yummy milk now and I can see that Mummy is leaking all over her t-shirt so that’s my cue! I’ll catch you all later!
I hope you liked my very first post! 🙂
